Alison Matthews, Jason White, Rob Doubleday
Alison completed her PhD in wildlife ecology and has spent many years researching the management and conservation of Australian mammals. After her undergraduate studies at the University of Sydney, Alison worked in a research team within the NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service. She has collaborated with researchers, community groups, and government agencies to develop wildlife management plans and threatened species policy. Her ecological research on species distributions, movements, and habitat preferences has been published widely in national and international journals. Over the last 10 years Alison has been engaged in teaching and research in the Faculty of Science at CSU as well as supporting teaching staff in her role as an Assessment Leader in the Division of Student Learning. Combining her experience as a researcher and facilitator of professional development programs, Alison aims to empower researchers to build and share their research knowledge with the world.
